I have always been drawn to things that are beautiful and well made. A hotel where every detail has been thought through, a painting you stand in front of for longer than you meant to, a film you watch again for a single scene, a table set with care. Luxury, art, cinema, fine manners: I have always wanted to understand what lies behind them.
Five years ago, I created Novars to share that curiosity. What began as an Instagram account has become a media brand followed by more than 150,000 people, in French and in English, who share the same desire: to learn to look, to understand, and to live with a little more elegance.
Our guides were born from your questions. To write them, I surrounded myself with enthusiasts and specialists in each field. Every page was reread, checked and rewritten until it was both accurate and a pleasure to read. My ambition is simple: that you close each guide a little more at ease, a little more curious, and a little freer.
